The Last of Us multiplayer game has been cancelled, with Naughty Dog promising more single-player narrative experiences in the future. Following an evaluation by Destiny maker Bungie, the studio would have been forced to work for years on post-launch content, in turn affecting its other projects. As such, the team decided to focus on story games and ditch The Last of Us Online. The news comes a month after its game director assured fans that development was still progressing on the project.
